TRADITIONAL POUR OVER COFFEE (HOT):

  1. Tear open the pouch at the perforation.
  2. Gently pull open the wings and hook the pouch over your mug.
  3. Heat at least a cup of water to 200°F or 93°C.
  4. Pour hot water halfway up the pouch (1oz), soaking the grinds but not filling the pouch. Wait 20 seconds. (this is called "bloom".)
  5. Refill the pouch with hot water 3x more times (7oz).
  6. Discard the pouch and enjoy your freshly brewed cup of coffee!

COLD BREW:

  1. Grab 2 coffee pouches of your favorite coffee.
  2. Take them out of the packaging foil, but don't tear the pouch open. [Optional: cut off the wings]
  3. Fill a jar with 2 cups of water and submerge the pouches. Push them down into the water until the grounds sit under the waterline. 
  4. Place covered in the fridge overnight (around 12 hours), and wake up to refreshingly smooth cold brew!
  5. You may want to adjust the concentration with water or by serving over ice.

TRADITIONAL POUR OVER (ICED):

  1. Tear open the pouch at the perforation.
  2. Gently pull open the wings to hook the pouch over your mug.
  3. Heat at least a cup of water to 200°F or 93°C.
  4. Blooming: Pour hot water halfway up the pouch (1oz), soaking the grinds but not filling the pouch. Wait 20 seconds.
  5. Refill the pouch with hot water 1.5-2 more times (4-6oz) depending on how strong you like your coffee.
  6. Discard the Pour Over Pouch and add 95g of ice to enjoy your fresh iced pour over!

BREW TIPS

Water Temperature:

Bring the water to a boil, then either 1) wait 30s with the kettle lid open or 2) add a bit of cold water.

It is tempting to refill the pouch with water more, but we recommend only 3 refills of the pouch for optimal taste.
